Kliment Voroshilov KV-2, KW-2, КВ-2 russian heavy assault tank. Tank was named KV after Kliment Voroshilov (Defence Commissar), friend of Stalin.
KV-2 was armed with the M-10 152 mm howitzer in a large slabsided turret. Max front armour 110 mm. Like the KV-1 tank on which it was based, it suffered from serious mechanical problems,
and more were lost to breakdown than enemy action. The KV-2 was popularly called the “Dreadnought” because of its big size.
