PR Type G (later redesignated PR.VII): This was a conversion of the Spitfire VA by Heston Aircraft, retaining eight .303-inch machine guns. It included a rear fuselage fuel tank with a capacity of 114 imperial gallons (518 liters) and one oblique and two vertical F.24 cameras in the rear fuselage.
