RH754 was part of the second production batch of Brigands, a three-seat aircraft that came in four variations: TF.I, B.I, MET. 3, and T.4. The TF.I was designed as a Torpedo Fighter, the B.I as a Fighter Bomber, the MET. 3 for Meteorological reconnaissance, and the T.4 as a Radar Trainer. Brigands were built in quantities of almost 150, with RH754 being equipped with four rocket projectiles under each wing and a torpedo in the fuselage rack. Despite their production, Brigands were too late to see much action during World War II, but they proved useful in peace-keeping efforts in the Far East during the late 1940s and early 1950s.
