TF.X, which stood for Torpedo Fighter Mark 10, was the ultimate variant of the type 156 aircraft. A total of 2095 Beaufighter TF.X aircraft were manufactured at the Weston facility, with an additional 110 units produced at Blythe Bridge. However, 163 of these aircraft were classified as Beaufighter XIc models, which were similar to the TF.X, but did not feature torpedo gear.
