Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG was a company founded in 1871 that also produced passenger cars in addition to commercial vehicles such as construction machinery, trucks, agricultural tractors and tractors. Until the beginning of the 1930s, Hanomag was also a major supplier of steam locomotives and, in addition to Continental AG, was one of the largest Hanoverian industrial companies.
