SdKfz 6 (Mittlerer Zugkraftwagen 5 t Büssing-NAG Typ BN9 – Sonderkraftfahrzeug 6) was a half-track military vehicle used by the German Wehrmacht during the Second World War.
Variants:
Sd.Kfz. 6/1 – artillery variant used for towing various guns.
Sd.Kfz. 6/2 – 3.7cm FlaK36 auf Fahrgestell Zugkraftwagen 5t. AA Sd.Kfz. 6 armed with a 3,7 cm Flakvierling 36 (traverse: 360°, elevation: -8° +85°). The rear superstructure of the Sd.Kfz. 6 was designed for the Flak 36 so that the sides folded down to provide an adequate platform for 360° traverse. Ammo was carried in a special single axle trailer. Production: 339.
Sd.Kfz. 6/3 – 7.62 cm FK36(r) auf Panzerjäger Selbstfahrlafette Zugkraftwagen 5t. SdKfz 6 armed with a captured Soviet 76,2 mm field gun F-22 (german designation: FK36(r) or FK296(r) ) in an armored superstructure. Traverse: 30° right and left; armor: 10 mm, crew: 5, production: 9.
