Upon closer inspection of the He 115B, it is evident that there is an extensive use of glass in the frontal section of the aircraft. The bombardier was equipped with flat-pane windows located at the bottom of the nose, which were designed to provide precise targeting. Additionally, it was the bombardier’s responsibility to operate the MG 15 gun that was mounted on the nose of the aircraft.
