47th Fighter Squadron: The spinner was painted black, with a nose band and fuselage band outlined in yellow. The fin and rudder displayed an inverted black triangle outlined in yellow. The aircraft had a three-digit side number in black located forward of the fuselage’s star and bar. Wing bands were yellow outlined in yellow.
78th Fighter Squadron: The spinner was yellow, followed by black. The fin and rudder had a yellow band with a black border below. Wingtips were painted yellow. The aircraft featured a three-digit side code in black, positioned forward of the star and bar.
All aircraft were delivered with an unpainted finish, except for the olive drab anti-glare panel.
