B-17G Flying Fortress 91st bomb Group Little Miss Mischief

Boeing B-17G-35-VE 42-97880 code DF-F “Little Miss Mischief” of the 91st bomb Group, 324th BS, after a gear-up belly landing at its base in England. April 1945.

This plane, had a large AA shell explode beside the ball turret, gunner survived. The Vega-built aircraft was joined to a back end from a cannibalized Boeing-built and painted B-17.
